18th Century Lambing chair in oak with a hooded canopy and pronounced rake to the back. A very rare model.
Lambing chairs are effectively primitive farmer’s wing chairs with a storage drawer - side drawer in this case. Legend has it, said farmer would nurse a poorly lamb in the drawer in front of the fire.
It has a rope seat and a feather seat cushion.
